One Answer to World Problems!

First, Jesus learned about love from his parents, second from his grandparents, his aunts and uncles, and his other family members. They demonstrated and lived spiritual principles in their daily lives.

The first circle of our lives revolves around our family. From our parents we learn to love or hate; we learn to be kind or we learn to abuse; we learn to honor one another or we learn to kill one another.

What do we teach our children?

I do believe and assert that if all families lived according to spiritual principles, and taught spiritual principles, society would be healed. Societies ills, I assert stem back to a lack of consciousness beginning first and foremost in the family.

If every person in the world woke up every day and really decided to live a spiritual life;

If every person woke up and looked around at his or her immediate family and decided to make it a day of love and light;

If every parent on the planet asked how best may I be a good father or mother today;

If every daughter, son, cousin, aunt, uncle asked God what is my obligation to my family what would the answer be?

If everyone looked at everyone else as a member of their families and honored family life, how would the world change?

The first principle Jesus and every prophet before him and every religion has taught is love God first.

In order to love God, we must love others as ourselves.

What does acting on this principle really require? What does it mean?

How many of us obey the Ten Commandments for starters?

Matthew 19:16-25

16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17 And he said unto him,
Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said,
Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

21 Jesus said unto him,
If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples,
Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

God is Love, Light and Life . . .

Please Meditate on this . . .
